SMITH FAMILY ,The service today at Christ Church Cathedral for your mother was absolutely beautiful! The eulogy prepared and
delivered by David and Michael was kind, thoughtful, and reflective.
You are both great Orators! The choice of music was touching and beautifully played by Maria and Ashly ,as were the readings by Charlotte ,Tegan and Patrick. Such a wonderful memory of Gloria for us all!

The Vancouver Art Gallery is deeply, deeply saddened by the passing of Gloria, who was a member of the Gallery and our Associates program, served on our Board of Trustees (2002-2004) and believed deeply in the transformative power of art in people’s lives. She contributed in so many ways over the years and brought such energy and enthusiasm to her every interaction and activity with the Gallery. She often remarked how important the Gallery was to her during both good times and bad, for it was here that she found moments of peace, inspiration and community. Gloria had art in her heart and we loved her at the Gallery. The Board of Trustees, staff, Associates, members and volunteers of the Vancouver Art Gallery will miss Gloria very much and we send our deepest condolences to her family.
