Glenn was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma in July, 2017. Very fortunately, he was diagnosed at Stage 1 . His treatment began with 4 months of chemotherapy that was intended to eliminate as many myeloma cells as possible before beginning a stem cell transplant . We are now at the transplant stage and are also fortunate to be in the capable and caring hands of the Bone Marrow Transplant team at the Puget Sound VA.

2 week hiatus

After harvesting stem cells about 10 days ago, Glenn’s body is being given a rest before he gets more chemo and his stem cells back. We will learn today when that will occur, but likely midweek next week.
