Dear Ann,
Glenn was a kind, spirited, luminous person who I love very deeply — I can’t express to you how honored and I am that he is and was ours. I’m so heart broken that I never got to visit one last time, and show him how important and meaningful our relationship has been to me. What a loss this is for us all, but I’m grateful for the generosity and kindness of Glenn’s tenacious, brilliant, sweet spirit. I hold my memories of him, and all of us together, in my heart always. I would love to help you in any way you need in this difficult time. It’s good to know he passed peacefully at home, and I know you two worked tirelessly until the end. I hope you know how much I love you, you’re in my heart always. — Renee (and Logan)
Dear Ann: I am truly saddened by the thought that I will not see Glenn again but my best thoughts are for you and others in Glenn's immediate circle who will no longer have him to love you and entertain you . My hope is that you might join us for our next gathering of the clan, wherever or whenever it will be. - Maggie Jean
Dear Ann, I'm so sad to have missed seeing Glenn because of Covid and all the stupid fires that canceled our Wine Country events the past three years. FWIW, I posted at Daily Kos about him and all the comments are really sweet. I invite you to visit to see all the love there: https://www.dailykos.com/stories/2021/5/2/2028709/-Glenn-jotter-Hammond-Daily-Kos-volunteer-statistician-has-left-us-at-70
Ann - My heart is heavy with the news of Glenn's passing. Both of you have always been so supportive, kind and generous. I'm so lucky to have had Glenn in my life. I stand beside you in your grief and I hope I can stop by for a visit sometime in the future. Lots of love, Jennifer
Dear Ann - Glenn was a gentle giant .. even as a young child. He and Ginny and the Hammonds family have been important in our lives for many years. I remember your beautiful and unique wedding so well. Bernie and I send our love. You and your family are in our hearts. -Terry
Dear Ann,
Kerry and I are so sad to hear that Glenn passed away yesterday. He made the world a warmer, brighter, kinder, and friendlier place. You two fought so hard against a terrible illness, and you did everything humanly possible to keep him here with us. I know Glenn is well cared for now in God's hands, free from pain and illness. Kerry and I will miss him always. You are in our thoughts and prayers. We wish you peace and healing in this sad time.
Love,
Kerry and Bill
Glenn did try everything and you, Ann, supported him through it all. I'm glad to hear Susie and Leida are there with you. My thoughts are with you. Actually, more than that, you were in a dream I had last night. When I saw the caring bridge email in my inbox, I knew what had happened.
