Journal entry by Gina Suni —
As many of you don't know, as I'm usually not the type of person to go seeking sympathy, I have recently been diagnosed with Stage II, borderline going onto Stage III Centrilobular emphysema, which debilitates my daily activities, sleep, etc. I also have a sensitivity to sulfites, previous persistent asthma, on top of the emphysema, which can cause anaphlaxis from allergic reactions that cause inflammation from such. Due to CT scans, X-rays, and various other medical imagery, tests, etc., after a visit to the ER last year, prescriptions paid for out of pocket, suffering without them for quite some time, as I'm sure most of you know, I'm a little stubborn and push myself, I have some medical expenses that I could use a little help paying as I await trying to get this bill backdated. I know none of you are obligated to pay off my debt, and don't expect you to, yet any help would be appreciated. This was also a disability that my father had and which he passed away from almost 7 years ago. There is no cure for emphysema, the disease only progresses and lung function gradually declines over time. I am currently on daily prescriptions which are used to aide my ability to breathe as I have diminished lung capacity due to my years of smoking, irritants, etc. I will keep you updated on my condition, keep researching and hope for the best. Thank you for anything any of you can help with, I appreciate it. I cannot accept donations personally, yet help with any medical bills can be sent directly to Essentia Health/ PO Box 64618/St. Paul, MN 55164-0618 which billing is listed under my name. My goal is $5024.28, my medical expenses left to be paid off. This is a nonprofit organization that helps in aiding with such. Sincerely, Gina
