Gina’s Story

Site created on December 6, 2019

Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.
Gina was on a flight home from FL (daughter Kathleen's  house) to AZ, on Tuesday Dec 3rd.  Her flight stopped in DFW (to change planes) and right before that flight landed in Dallas she was feeling sick, and vomited and passed out. Paramedics took her off the plane and she went to Dallas Medical City Hospital ER, she was transferred to Plano Texas Medical City Brain and Trauma Hospital, where she is now.  At first they thought she had a stroke, but She DID not have a Stroke.  They did not know why she passed out... Neurologist and Cardiologist consulted with, tons of tests, and Daughter Donna from Oregon flew down on Wednesday Dec 4th.  All set to go home on Saturday Dec 7th, but on the 6th, she had a Heart Episode, and Cardiologist wanted to perform angiogram to see if she had blockages, procedure was done on Dec 6th, and no blockages were found. Cardio doc will put her on beta blockers and if all goes well, Gina and Donna will be flying back to Phoenix together early next week. So we are still GinaelliotPlanoTX for now... hope to have her home in AZ soon!
