Georgiana’s Story

Site created on May 3, 2018

Our lives changed when Georgiana’s routine  MRI revealed a large tumor on her left temporal lobe.   Our loving doctor, Dr. Jon Halberg, broke the news to us in his gentle but efficient manner. He arranged for us to see a neurosurgeon at University of Minnesota cancer center 3 hours later.  That was my first clue that this is really not good.

Georgiana had her first appointment  at MD Anderson and is scheduled for surgery on  Wednesday May 9.

I will keep you informed as our future unfolds.

Journal entry by Jack Ewing

Hello Love,

74 years ago today, your arrival brightened the Millerman household.

48 years ago, your arrival brightened my life.

Celebrating your birthday posthumously is bittersweet.

On the sweet side,  I have hundreds of memories of our life together.

On the bitter side, you’re not here to celebrate with me.

I am also celebrating Fritz’s birthday, today. He is now twelve and his luxurious coat is graying but he still has plenty of “Poodle-power.”

He is my constant companion and he helps to fill the void of your passing.

You will always be alive in my heart but I do miss you.

i miss your laugh.

i miss your face.

I miss your voice.

I miss you.
