George’s Story

Site created on October 4, 2020

George is a lively, fun-loving boy. He enjoys playing in the woods, climbing trees, playing with his dog, and studying math. On October 2, a Friday, he was helping his Mom with a yard sale along busy Highway 35 in Oakland Mills. When crossing the road to get ice cream, he made the mistake of dashing ahead of his big brother, was struck by a vehicle, and was seriously injured. Please pray for healing for George. Please pray for his siblings and parents.

Journal entry by Andrew N Julia Zimmerman

We came home yesterday afternoon with George. He's recovering well. He has several medications he'll be on for two weeks. Then we have a follow-up visit with the surgeon.
Thanks for your thoughts and prayers!

Today is Julia's birthday. We're celebrating by all of us going out to eat. 😀
