George was a great man! Always welcoming at the Manawa Regatta and very enjoyable person to speak with and be around! Rest in Peace George.

George was one kindest people I know.
He encouraged so many of us to sail more and race regularly. He was a great instructor, and shared all his knowledge freely. He loved his family and nurtured Lake Manawa Sailing Association and many members for many years.
