Journal entry by Theresa Jensen

George is still in Paoli Hospital being treated for a staph infection.  The good news is that he definitely does not have MRSA.  This allows the doctors to fine tune the antibiotics George is receiving to better fight the staph infection. While he is still a little tired, George is feeling much better.  The bad news is that the infection probably originated in his leg.  Because of that, he will have to be on IV antibiotics for at least a few weeks.  We will have to follow up with the surgeons from Christiana to determine what further course of action will be necessary. Hopefully, he will return to Bryn Mawr Rehab in a couple of days to resume his recovery.  George thanks everyone for their prayers and good wishes and ask that you keep remembering him in your prayers as he works to get better.
