Journal entry by Theresa Jensen

Quite a bit has happened in the past few days.  On Friday, we got word that George would be moving to Bryn Mawr Rehabilitation Hospital in Pennsylvania.  The transport ambulance was a couple of hours late, so George did not arrive there until almost 9:00 PM Friday night.  On Saturday, he was evaluated for the therapy he will be receiving. He rested today, but therapy begins in earnest tomorrow.  George will have three full hours of therapy daily (except weekends).  So far, we are very impressed with Bryn Mawr.  The facility is beautiful and the staff are caring and attentive.  The whole vibe there is very positive.
Since George will be occupied with therapy during the day, I will be heading back to work tomorrow!  I am looking forward to meeting my classes and getting into the swing of the school year.  It will be so good to see everyone at school.
Please pray that George does well with his therapy so he can regain his mobility and independence.  It's going to be tough, so please pray for endurance and strength.  As always, thank you so much for all of the kindness and support you have given us; it has made this difficult time bearable.
