Hello. As of Wednesday, we have a new update! George's cancer is gone!!!! There is no sign of carcinoma in his head, neck or torso. Needless to say, we are SO thankful for his wonderful medical care -- primarily at Tacoma General Hospital (which is connected to Seattle Cancer Care Alliance). We are also SO grateful for all of your good thoughts, prayers, care and showing of support. THANK  YOU. 

Now. On to the next journey. Surgery for his giant chest hernia that occurred as a result of his open heart surgery two years ago. That surgery is scheduled for Oct. 30 at the UW Medical Center. All is expected to go well, with 4-8 weeks of recovery. After that, watch our dust!
