My sweet, amazing, loving, kind, husband left this earth today to spend eternity with Jesus. He took his final breath resting in my arms surrounded by love at approximately 1:13 pm. While we are devastated by this tremendous loss and hole in our hearts, I take comfort in knowing that he knew he was loved and I know he has been celebrating with Jesus all day. He is no longer in pain or suffering. He was the most determined, strong, man who loved life and fought leaving us till his last day. He fought an incredible fight but in the end this Cancer was just too much. While I dont understand why God chose not to heal him here, I will continue to trust Him and clinge to His promises that this is not goodbye just see you later. As a believer I know I will see him again. May God comfort you all and continue to give us strength in the days to come. I will post the memorial information once the arrangements are made.
