Thank you Kari. Many of us at Community of Grace miss your dad a lot. Last year our fishing league created a trophy in his memory. The trophy has a cross on one side and an image of the American flag on the other. I can't tell you how often he came up in conversation as we recalled the many ways he touched our lives. May God comfort you and all the family in this time of remembrance.
Thanks for sharing Kari. Yes, all the firsts......we were reminded of our love for him in so many ways during the holidays. Knowing there will always be one less car in the driveway, one less pair of shoes at the door, one less "blue" coat to hang, one less place setting at the table, and one less gift under the tree is indescribable. His life was such a blessing to all of us.
Love you all. I understand what you are saying and my heart is heavy for you. Praying my friend. Our mind knows they are in a better place but our heart yearns for them some days you can’t breath.
