We remember the visit Cassandra made to our apartment with Gavin when he was just five years old. He was mesmerized by the view down the railroad tracks out our back window, as I (Byron) have been for many years. Clearly, even then, he was curious about the world. I too was touched by the love and warmth filling the church at the celebration of Gavin's life. I knew Gavin as his preschool teacher at the Brattleboro Center for Children many years ago. I saw his beautiful spirit, and love and compassion at such a young age. I didn't know he was so gifted in so many ways. Love. Ann Reed
