Long over due update on Gary. It's been 3 years since Gary has been at a care facility in St Paul. There have ben some very rough times, truthfully I don't know how he does it . Several bouts of pneumonia, covid,and pressure sores that won't go away have been very challenging. And recently the doctors tried to remove the trachea . It didnt go well . They had to replace the trachea and informed us Gary will need it for the rest of his life.  We are still hopeful we will be able to find somewhere in or closer to Rochester for his care . But with his level of care he needs nursing staff to be present 24/7.  It's hard to find a place with that.
