Hello to all of our caring bridge family. I want to tell you a little bit about our dad. Our dad is 73 years old and had to medically retire from work nearly 10 years ago he worked for the city of Huntsville for 37 years For the sanitation department as a truck driver. He and my mom had a passion to make children happy And decided that even though they were on a Fixed income would somehow find a way to open Santas helpers.They had helped hundreds of families have a good Christmas...Unfortunately after several years it had to close down because they had lack of funding and had severe medical issues they did not have the income to take care of their medicines every month and their bills and keep it open....as my dad was going through heart failure, Last Thursday our dad was in such horrible back pain he asked for us to take him to the hospital this is not like our dad To want to go to the hospital. On Sunday the family was informed that he tested positive for bone marrow cancer. My parents are not the kind to ask for help... other than prayer..... this is very hard for them and we haven’t even begun treatments yet! Please help any way you can! The bills are flooding in and they are on fixed income and are in a gap with med insurance... Please pray for Our Dad!!
