Dear friends and family,
We have been waiting for this day to come for many months. We are so happy and grateful to announce that our dad is CANCER FREE! Yes, that’s right!!! CANCER FREE!!! God is so good!!
We are so rejoicing today in his goodness and mercy.
Dad will go back every 3 months for scans and checkups and he can start the process of plastic surgeries in January, if he chooses. Right now he is trying to build his strength up and gain his weight back. He is so eager to get back to his normal routine of doing things for others and volunteering at his church, and of course being a Papaw, that’s his favorite pastime. His “honey do” list from mom has gotten really long! Haha! It’s really hard to hold him down these days, and we love seeing this!
We cannot thank you enough for all your thoughts, prays, and surrounding us with your love. We have felt it all and are so grateful.
Dad is an amazing example of a Godly man
and has completely walked this journey believing God was in control and gave every praise to him through the good and bad days. We are so anammered by his faithfulness, he is simply an incredible man.
And then there is our mom....his rock, his love of 57 years. She has kept a loving, hopeful heart through it all and has been faithfully strong through some really fearful days. We love them both immensely and are so proud they are our parents.
Thank you again for walking this journey with us, we are forever grateful for you all!
