I met Gail about 10 years ago. We both went to sign in at Pete's and we were both going through our divorces and just started talking every week and ended forming a pretty awesome friendship. When my sister Gail was added to our mix it got quite confusing with the 2 Gail's. Gail then became Cookie! Such fun times were had and many memories made. A funny memory I have to share is... We were at Hodag and we made a McD run, it was super busy and when Gail got up there to order she said. "I'll have A value meal! " The little Asian lady got this look on her face and yells-THERE ALL VALUE MEALS!! Then Gail says I don't know, I don't eat "the fast food" often! We bring that up every year after! This is so shocking and doesn't seem real to me. I am thinking about your family during this hard time and sending my hugs and prayers. RIP Gail (Cookie)

I have known Gail since I Moved to the Northside of town in 5th grade. We were friends always but I remember her most as besties with Carla, Laura and Diane. Always together but chummed with all of us, I with Sally, Linda and Kathy. Continues through our life and hung at the same bars, seeing each other on and off but always catch up to present . Never like we had any time pass except busy lives with famiies and jobs now. Then she started at Winnebago where I also worked so was awesome to reconnect. I became ill and had to retire from work and have limited abiity to get out and about. She became friends on FB and we again were able to stay connected and chat on PM. We shared our political comments with each other alot....lol We were lucky enought to get a nice group of old friends together for dinner at the Roxy and she was there... We sat like a bunch of high schoolers again but talked of our kids and grandchildren with more pride than could fill the room. Of course our last PM was ended with we will have to get together again soon. I was one of the gals who had illness and all shared their love, concern and encouragement. I now realize that we are all destined to leave the world and never know when or how. I just know that I have been given the opportunity to say a prayer each day thanking the Lord for the people we have in our lives and the joy and message they bring. I have been blessed with the privilege of knowing and being Gails friend for all these years. She will remain in my heart and I will share her memory . I know one day we will all meet again for a girls get together and have the time of our lives... May the Lord hold you and guide you through this sad time but know your Mother was a wonderful person and friend you can be proud of...
