Newest Update

Journal entry by Charity Brunsmann

Sorry it’s been so long since I’ve updated.  I think I’ve been waiting for some kind of good news that doesn’t seem to coming our way.

Dads cancer is progressing, he now has a tumor under his arm that is the same type of Cancer, but is faster growing variety. As of right now I think the plan is radiation to treat that, his chemo has changed to kind of high dose shots chemo instead of the IV chemo for right now to treat the original multiple myeloma and the new tumor.  He sees his Radiologist & Oncologist the end of the week so we will see what if any new treatment plan they have.

Up until the last month or so his spirits had remained pretty high, and he was hopeful. But as of late the days are harder and more painful I can see it on his face and hear it in his voice. Some of you may know that mom is in that hospital right now, she has been for a little over a week. She’s having some issues with her oxygen levels. So if you could spare a minute to say a prayer for them I’d sure appreciate it.

I will try and update after dads appts at end of week if there is any change. I hope you are all staying safe and healthy with all the crazy things going on in the world. ❤️
