May you rest in peace, Fred, and may you, too, rest well, Sherry, as you mourn. At the end of an entire chapter regarding resurrection, St Paul ends with good words for those of us on this side. I love Paul's first word: "Therefore..." "BECAUSE OF the promise of resurrection assured us in the death and resurrection of Christ... be steadfast [in your trust], immoveable, always excelling in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain." (1 Corinthians 15:58) May it be so in the lives of Fred's loved ones and family, as indeed it was so in Fred's own life.
