Hi Vivi, I'm sorry to be so slow in getting back to you. Summer in our villages...you know how it goes! My house was full on 7/31, but I wanted to celebrate Fred's recovery in person! I'm so happy for his recovery. It is truly amazing, and a blessing. He is such a treasure and we all love him...and you too!

I wish we could be there but we are here in Connecticut. God bless Fred and his remarkable recovery and your amazing care for him (Vivi, Tom and help from community) I can only imagine it was a Long, Strange, year , we send our love and wanted to share with Fred and you all his love for kayaking has influenced me over the years and we FINALLY bought 2 used Necky Kayaks (rare here in Connecticut) because Fred told me that was what I should get. When I first met Fred, he was working in building a kayak at Sam’s and Fred used to let me use his kayak to go out in Nehalem and enjoy time on the water. I love Fred’s spirit, wonder and musical talent and am so happy he survived and is getting better through all your help. Wish we could be there will be there in spirit
