We have been home 2 weeks and are beginning to settle into a regular routine. On most mornings, we start with a 1.3 mile walk in the neighborhood. Franklin then does  exercises and performs therapy that has been assigned to do at home. Two days each week we attend speech therapy and OT at Piedmont in Newnan. We are very pleased with the quality of therapy that is being provided at the facility. We also have a private speech therapist come to our home for an additional hour of therapy each week. Franklin’s  speech is really improving,  and we are very encouraged by the progress. Progress continues to be very slow in regards to his right hand. We have faith that this will begin to improve more quickly over the next few weeks.
We truly appreciate all of the calls and texts checking on Franklin. We ask that you please continue to pray for full recovery.
