Frank’s Story

Site created on January 29, 2019

On Saturday, January 26 Frank went to the ER after being ill and having trouble breathing.  Doctors discovered he was very ill and was not getting enough oxygen or circulation.  He was placed on a ventilator and put in the Intensive Care Unit at Decatur Memorial Hospital in critical condition.  On Sunday, after discovering that his heart was not functioning well Frank was airlifted to St. Francis Hospital in Peoria to receive the intense treatment he needs.  He underwent surgery and was placed on a bypass machine to take over the function of his heart so that his heart could rest and hopefully heal.  He remains in critical condition.  He is receiving wonderful care at this time and the family asks for continued prayers for healing.  We also ask for prayers for his son Griffin during this difficult time.  We will try to update this page as often as possible so that all of Frank's friends and family can stay updated on his condition.  Thank you to all for your prayers these past few difficult days and please keep them coming!  #hiltonstrong  #fightfrankfight

I first want to say sorry for not posting on here for some time now. I am sure that a lot of you know that Frank was able to come home 1 week ago today. He is home resting and getting stronger each and everyday. He is so appreciative of all the prayers and messages that people have passed along and he is very humbled. We all need to remember how huge the power of prayer truly is and I can assure you God is truly amazing. Thanks again for following along here and hopefully we were able to keep you guys up to date.
