I am so sorry to hear of Coach Frank's passing. He was an wonderful man with an amazing spirit. Whenever I needed a laugh, I knew I could count on him. You are all in my thoughts and prayers:

May the road rise up to meet you.

May the wind be always at your back.

May the sun shine warm upon your face;

the rains fall soft upon your fields and until we meet again,

may God hold you in the palm of His hand.

We will miss you Frank,

I am so saddened to hear this. Coach was an amazing man. He will truly be missed by many. But I know that his memory will be kept alive by all of those he touched. He made a huge impact on lives. He always had a way to make people laugh. There was never a dual moment with Coach and he always went out of his way to support others. Heaven gained an angel today. ❤❤❤ RIP Coach.

Well, Hague and I have been going over all the memories and good times we had with Frank and recalling how unique, smart and loving he was. It is very sad to hear this news, and I feel I have to write a message to honor him and let his wonderful family know how much we loved him and how special he was to us. We also have such love and respect for you as a family, and thank you so much for the messages and the great loving care you gave to Frank. Hague worked with him at the O'School for 15 years, nearly Hague's entire working career in Chicago. Frank and he were unique friends, male teachers in a special school for special kids who needed good male role models. They shared the love of making a difference with young people and even though neither Hague and Frank had any kids of their own, they worked magic together with the kids. Hague the art teacher and Frank the athletic Coach, such polar opposites, but so much alike at the same time. Hague and I loved Frank's sense of humor and all the great things he did for the students. They loved Frank back just as much as he loved them.
We will miss him greatly, and the big personality he had will never be forgotten. We plan to be in Chicago for the remembrance and look forward to meeting many of the people who knew Coach from Wheelchair Basketball and other projects. We also will be happy to meet his family soon too. We send you our prayers of comfort and love. Merry-Beth Noble and Hague Williams

Oh BurnZoid just one more joke, one more belly laugh, one more brainstorm larger than life... make my ears bleed one more time, one more story of times we had together, one more plan for future, your plans and dreams were always bigger than everyone else’s! Make that face, be loud, dominate the room, compliment me one more time like you did every time we spoke, bash all my sports teams college and pro! Just one more time Frank. One more. Damn what I would give. My mind are snapshots of you, flash backs that I will take to my grave. Brother and I mean BROTHER cya on the other side Crank and I will get my one more time! Blessings and comfort to all the Burns Family
MoFo Ky, one of the nicknames you gave me!
