'Nothing is past: nothing is lost. One brief moment and all will be as it was before only better, infinitely happier and forever we will all be one together with Christ."
Rest well my friend, rest well. You have finished the race, you have completed the task with grace and dignity!

I am so sad. Frank was bigger than life and such an inspiration to so many of us. I can't imagine how hard this has been for all you there with him. Thank you for all the love and care you provided him until the end. And thank you also for all your efforts to keep those of us who loved him from where we are around the country updated. Frank will be missed.

A very sad day... I remember Frank’s hilarious pranks at the first Towle reunion at Breezy Point, his amazing sense of humor and joy of life. We will miss you “cuz.” 😢

We love you Frank!

To the Burns Family, your bond was so admirable to observe throughout this process. We thank you for allowing us to be involved along the way. You all clearly did everything humanly possible, and while doing so were so thoughtful in providing us the daily updates.

I celebrate Frank’s amazing legacy with you. He gave nearly 5 decades of his life to the game of wheelchair basketball. He certainly had a lasting impact on me and reminds me to this day to live life with passion and purpose. He did that so very well and I thank him for the extraordinary example.

My deepest condolences go out to all of you. I will see you in Chicago soon. Much love from the NWBA family.❤️♿️🏀❤️
