Frank, we are sending strong, positive thoughts from Saint Louis. This isn’t an easy journey, nor a quick one, but you have SOOOOOOO many hearts and loving souls with you, cheering every positive step you’re making.....

And I’m sure the presence of family helps your days..... and please know how grateful we are to your family for keeping us informed as to your progress. We are able to know of your efforts and progress only because your family has been incredibly generous with their time and their words, taking us along and making it all understandable. Just as they support you they support us. Hugs to each of you Burns kids and a most heartfelt thanks.

Hey there Frank and the Burns Family! Great news, and it is really slow steady progress. The irony does not get lost on me that this is exactly what Coach has done his entire career, which is to encourage the same in his students and athletes he has coached! So now it's time for him to accept the help of others to do the same thing! So nice that he has practice in that department and has served so many as a great example.
Well another great day of football, and Coach, thank goodness you can keep up on the scores while you are in the hospital. Surprising loss from Drew Brees today, and Hague said it was an awesome game. Your friend Tip can relate to the greatness of Brady and we all have many questions what he will be doing next year. He looked pretty sad walking to the locker room. If he needs some consoling, maybe I can go to Boston and give him a pep talk. First I will make plans to visit you Coach -- you are first on the list!
Keep up the great work Frank, and we are so awed by your progress!
Love and prayers, Merry-Beth and Hague

Just like wheelchair skills, a little bit more each day. Really looking forward to hearing all that he has to say when he can speak-maybe 😀! Praying for you everyday.
