Faith, Hope and an altar cross. True miracles and how God works in mysterious ways. Could there be another nurse named Love or maybe Charity?

Great news to hear you have recieved your last infusion . Very inspiring to hear of your nurses Hope and Faith!! And very pleased to hear of the wonderful care you have received at Duke! I look forward to seeing a picture of an old altar cross from the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Mexico. Thank you for sharing that story with us. God Bless you Father Phil. Safe travels!

Dear Fr. Phil, it is always good to hear from you .... your latest news of Faith joining Hope is the best you can possibly share! I am certain they must know what the two names mean to you and to all of us, through our Catholic beliefs. You are indeed in perfect hands! Stay strong, have a binding pilgrimage with the young men you have the joy of leading. With love, good health, and safe travels, Lane

You once told me that our Lord was reaching down from the cross to allow me a share in His suffering, to reach up and bear it together. Your post above is a beautiful addition to that. He is strong and mighty, and He protects his own. We love you and are praying for you, Father. ❤️
