Greetings Father Dave--I'm glad you can look forward to Florida in Feb. I have found that getting out of gray, wet Dayton in the winter for a few weeks of warmth and sunshine does wonders for body and soul. I pray you will feel well and strong when you go. I think of you often with gratitude.

Good morning my friend. I am sorry you are feeling poorly. However, I am so proud of you and your outlook. You sir are my inspiration. May your brave friend find great joy and rest in the arms of Jesus. Keep looking forward to those warm and relaxing times in the sun and remember us in your prayers and stuggles. We are each holding you up in spirit and prayer. Go bless you Father Dave and give you strength each and everyday to complete this journey of Chemo; may he give you strong health to recover from its tremendous toll on your beloved body. xoxo Diane

Father Dave, thanks for the insights and thanks for that infectious optimism! Pray-ers need to know their prayers are being heard and answered. I’m not alone in praying that your “recovery sojourn “ in Florida exceeds all your hopes and dreams.

YOU make such a difference in our lives, Duffy; and we love you. We hate that you have to go through all of this but are thrilled that you have so much to look forward to. Trust that our prayers and support for you continue on a daily basis. We are so sorry that you lost one of your "cancer club" friends as we're sure that each and every one of them is special to you as you are to us.
Love and prayers, Ed and Alice

No need to feel like you have to acknowledge all those who supported this long journey.. God will take care of that just as he has taken care of you.. most of us will never experience what you have been thru but what a journey you have under taken and that in itself has inspired us all.. Bring on that Feb. sunshine and warmth...

Be consoled in Giesla's passing. . .what a wonderful person she must have been for you to have been so touched by her. I will add her to my prayer warriors list as one who has more influence than those of us 'in the flesh.' May the long-awaited One suffuse your everyday existence with hope and health. You are ever in our prayers!
Marie
