Dearest Fr Dave, my husband and I are part of the Diaspora of St. Monica’s. We are from Sacramento . We found St Monica’s through our daughter, Margaret, who lived in LA for several years and was part of the Steven Ministers and hospitality committee. (She worked with Bill Black as a leader). You have been very inspirational to us , along with Msgr Torgerson and the other priests. You have a wonderful parish and you are very much a part of the welcoming, vibrant community. We’re so sorry about your illness and want you to know we are praying for you a great deal . You are also in the prayers of my Monday night faith group - a group of women who have been together for at least 15 years or more. This group includes Pat Aguiar who has also sent a message to you. We wish you well, Father, you are always in our hearts.
