Update on Dad: This weekend will mark a month since Dad was released from Community North! When Dad returned home he was sleeping in our living room and walking with a walker. Dad is now using a cane to walk around and he is walking up the stairs to sleep in his own room. Dad continues to regain his physical strength. Today we got the BEST news ever. After weeks of Dad’s early morning, MWF dialysis schedule, as he was sitting in his dialysis chair this morning he received a call from his Dr... The Dr. called to tell Dad that his test results were back and he no longer needs to be on dialysis. Dad’s kidneys are functioning again!!! On Monday, Dad will go in to have some testing done to be sure but we are hopeful that sometime next week Dad will get his permacath out! It has been a long journey these past few months but Dad never fails to show us his unbeatable strength. We thank ALL of you from the bottoms of our hearts for your endless prayers for Dad.
