Memory eternal to dear Father Ignatius!
I am from Belarus (opposite side of the world on the globe), and visited Father Ignatius several times. Each time I was treated like a VIP and felt loved at St. Silouan’s. He would drive me around the property, talk to me, listen to my story.
I always remember Father Ignatius in my prayers and he was taken from this world the same day as my father (December 31), just 20 years apart which is a second on eternity scale.
I believe I will come to bring flowers to Fr. Ignatius and Fr. Maximos. I hoped we will be planting olive trees at St. Silouan’s, but in another life, where we spiritually plant trees of our life.
