Everett’s Story

Everett was born on July 8th, 2017. Shortly after he was born it was discovered he has Trisomy 21 (Down Syndrome) and an AV Canal heart defect. He will be going into open heart surgery on July 20th  for his heart repair. We are using this site to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting!

Surgery Day

Everett went back to surgery around 7:30 AM this morning. The hospital has been great with sending us updates through an app! At 10:00 AM, we received an update that the repair portion of his surgery is complete (sewing on the patch). They called in Cardiology to review the repair before moving forward (which is a standard protocol).
