The central line Ev got a few weeks ago has now been infiltrated with candida tropicalis which, all of a sudden on Friday afternoon, caused breathing problems, a fever, high heart rate, and low blood pressures. And, in case you didn’t know, is almost impossible to treat without taking all hiding places (aka all central lines) out. So the lines that were put in for her to receive her IV nutrition now have to come out.
