Esperanza is 28 weeks gestation today And 12 days old from birth. She was born at 2 lbs 2Oz, last Monday she was 2 lb 3 oz and and today she is 2 lb 8 oz. They have been feeding her Jess's milk with fortification of other calories for preemies.
She will continue to be on CPAP, continuous positive airflow pressure, until about 32 weeks. She has become more vocal this week with more crying and other noises.
They hope to possibly discharge her near the last week of October.
Jess is continuing to recover but has been difficult to get a full night sleep with the milk pumping every 2 hours.
Please continue to pray for Esperanza's digestion, breathing, and brain development. Also, for Jess to continue to heal, to be able to produce milk, and for us both to be able to sleep enough.
