He is done and out in recovery did a total of 4 bypasses HE DID IT thank you God for giving us DR Tolis what a miracle worker he is!!! Off to see my dad
As of 7:30 I was informed that they are in the final stages of the surgery. That being said it could still be another 45 minutes till I am able to speak face to face with Dr. Tolis. And another hour or so before I can lay eyes on him. I will let you know all I can after that meeting.
Just got news that incision was made at 4:05pm and that we are looking at a potential end time of 8-9 pm. I will continue to post as I hear however I feel it is of more benefit to await calls from the OR rather than ask to call in. At this point I think we all feel focus on My father is of the utmost importance. Let's all keep in mind for us this feels like a lifetime but for him this is the best 10 minute fishing trip he's been on! Again thank you for all your support
The nurses have just come in and let us know that he is now on call. It should be about 20 minutes before my dad is brought in to begin this journey. Heparin has been stopped and things are moving forward. Please keep my father in your thoughts and prayers! Love you dad and thank you for all your support to my dad through this.
