Oh Erin, I am sorry you are having such a difficult time. I am glad you finally found a surgeon that you are comfortable with. I had some great advice from the only Ortho Oncologist in San Diego county. He said it is important to connect with your oncologist. The surgeon just needs to be the best surgeon. His bedside manner is not the main importance because you will only be with him for the procedure. Your main doctor is where you need the relationship. Does that make sense? I think it is absurd that any surgeon does not have a good bedside manner but I know that you know that doesn’t always happen. I am here for you if you want to yell, scream, cry or just know that someone is listening and caring.
