Erin’s Story

Site created on August 4, 2021

On July 30th, 2021 I was diagnosed with stage 2 Hodgkin Lymphoma. I learned of my diagnosis after noticing a couple lumps in my supra clavicular region. I hadn’t been sick and the lumps weren’t causing any pain. They just worried me because it wasn’t typical of my body. I’ve never had swollen lymph nodes even with a common cold.  I knew it was important that I go see a doctor to tell me what’s up. A couple weeks and biopsies later, and I had my answer. It came as a surprise to everyone and it is still shocking and a lot to process. But I’m so lucky I listened to my body and caught it early. Now it’s time to give it the good fight! 💜

Newest Update

Journal entry by Erin Lynch

Today I was blessed with the news of a perfect scan. I’m overwhelmed with emotions from just processing the last year and getting this news. There’s no more uncertainty. I have clarity. I always had confidence in my body, and hope, and positivity. But today turns a new leaf in this whole journey. It’s all officially a part of my history. It’s a thrilling chapter in my book, but it’s not the climax.
I’m so excited for this upcoming year. A new school in a new city, with new people. A new perspective and a new life, more or less, where I can manifest my future and choose to bring up my past as I want to. It’s a powerful feeling. I am so so grateful. ❤️
