Mary and Sam,
Firstly and foremost, you have my deepest condolences. Eric was taken far too young. I hope you may find peace.
Eric's journey was very inspiring to all, especially to me. It was not just his journey the last two years, but the time I spent with him when he was not ill. Eric was the best Cousin one could ask for. When our family came to Stevens Point for the holidays, Eric would always spend time with me. We would shoot pool in his parents basement. If it was Winter, we would do some ice fishing on the river. In the Summer, more fishing, ATV riding, etc. He once took me to my first race car event. He brought me down into the pits to see the cars and sit in one. Eric also had this blue truck called "The Smurf," that you could hear from a mile away. Eric even defied Newtons Laws of Physics by engineering a riding lawn more to go about 60mph. As you can see, the memories were endless and priceless.
To Eric's family: Mary and Sam, Parents: George and Anita, Sisters: Pam, Steph, and Melissa, I am very sorry for the lose of your husband, Dad, son, and brother. Once again, I am so sorry. Eric will be forever remembered in our hearts. Love you, bro.

What a beautiful summary of a wonderful man. You both are an inspiration and I’m so glad you and Sam have each other forever to remember and celebrate Eric every day. I will always remember your wedding when little Sam stood with you. I love you all
