Newest Update

Journal entry by megan walradth

So... where are we... well, no where.   Eric was not accepted into the trial in Boston.  Why? You ask.  Well,  all his test results remained the same and eligible for the trial, accept one— the bone marrow.  When we went to Boston, his bone marrow was at 10-15%.  Following the bone marrow test from his other hip, he was at 5%; which makes him ineligible for for trial...so now what? We wait...we wait for the cancer to affect/effect more of his body than currently impacted.  We will visit our local oncologist here in Syracuse again in July and see how we have progressed.  For those who wonder, how this is affecting (effecting?) him, basically he’s tired...more so than normal.  Other than that, we don’t have much of an update- in Eric’s words he’s gotta stand on one leg more to spread his bone marrow around to effect the other side more...(that’s not physically possible.) I think we mentioned before, there is no treatment for him at this point...just waiting.
