What a beautiful tribute to your father. What a caring family. It is really refreshing during this trying time to read about love and support. Your family is a wonderful example of what would help society during this difficult time. Thank you for sharing.

Thank you for sharing, not only your words, but your Mother, your Father, and all you kids. We have learned so much over the years about love, dedication, devotion, family, and faith from the Bartleson Family that words cannot adequately say what we truly feel. But you know what I mean. Peace and Strength. Jon and Jan

Paul, Jen and Ann Marie,
Thank you for sharing this loving tribute to your Dad and very special brother (in law) to me.
We shared so much in our lives - personal , in family life and as educators. He taught me so much.
Thank you for your loving care for him especially during his last illness and at the time of his death.
May he know the fullness of life with God and Jesus his savior who he loved and served all his life.
May he and Cathy help us all on our journey through this life to our home with them in heaven.
Pat , thank you for your love and care r for Eric and being a special part of our family now and forever.
With love, care and prayer.
Fr. Russ

Your posts on CB have been a loving tribute to your father. I feel honored having become reacquainted with both of your parents when they moved to Winona . When I first ran into them and introduced myself, they remembered their time in Milaca and those they were friends with, including my parents. My dad had a wonderful visit with them in their house in WE Valley when he was visiting. Whenever I would run into your dad at a restaurant or the Co-op, he always had a big smile and always asked how my dad was doing along with how I was. His loving spirit always shined through. My dad always enjoyed telling me the story on how they met - your dad came to the liquor store when they first moved to Milaca. My dad was working. My dad shook his hand, introduced himself and said "I am one of your teachers". He always said your dad was probably one of the best "bosses" he ever had. Paul, Jennifer and Anne Marie - you are living proof of what a wonderful man Eric was. A man of faith, family, and goodness. Your writings show the love in your family. He will be remembered my many always. Thanks for sharing him with us.
