Hey sweetheart just wanted to let you know I love you and my prayers for healing and strength are with you! See yourself healthy and walking out of that place soon! And be nice to the nurses, doctors and especially your sister!

Linda, I was just talking today with former teammates of Eric. We all were saying we kept checking for updates, but that we hadn’t seen any. It is nice to see the update. While it will not be easy, there appears a path forward for Eric. I know he has a great heart and is a caring individual and everyone who knows Eric has seen both the positive and the not so positive that you referenced. He remains in my prayers and the prayers of so many others who have known him. I know leading up to his heart attack he probably felt so alone, but those who know God, need to remember with God we are never alone. I plan to get up to see him when my life allows. I want him to get better and to be able to play baseball again. I want to see him umpiring again.

Hi Linda. I was literally on this site a short time ago hoping for an update and didn’t see anything. You must have been composing it at that exact moment. Thank you for taking the time to let us know what is going on with Eric. I’m sure I can speak for everyone when I say that we love Eric and are praying for a recovery.

I’m sure it’s natural to question yourself about the decisions you are making and if they are the right choices. Rest assured, you have been there for Eric at every turn and have truly been the biggest blessing in his life. Any decision or choice you make regarding Eric and his future will no doubt be the right choice.

Once Eric gets stronger I will make plans to come and out spend some time with him.

Stay strong and never hesitate if there is anything I can ever do. ❤️

Linda, Your journey brought back so many memories of Denny’s last 5/6 weeks. The great ups and hopeful times and the others as well. I am sorry Eric is experiencing such a challenging time and can relate to all of it. Decisions are so difficult to make as you pray for wisdom and also for grace. Somehow you will navigate this . Know that others care and though I don’t know Eric I can relate as I have three brothers.
Take care of yourself as this could be a long haul!
June
