Journal entry by Tamara Milby

Yesterday was pretty bad from the start as far as mentally being here. She started the day off not speaking and easily angered . However as the day progressed her attitude changed from angry to very silly. Most of what I see from her makes me very sad, but occasionally she does something that I can’t help but laugh about. For a little comic relief I will share with you one of the funny things she did.

Ellie (her sister) and I had bought her a suction cup pink heart for her phone. Instead of putting it on her phone she stuck it to her head and said she was a unicorn. 🦄  She took it off and on so much that she now has what looks like a hickey on her forehead!! My silly girl. 😂

Emma, although nervous, is very happy we are heading to Houston this weekend. Please pray with us that this doctor will be able to treat her as quickly as possible! Our first appointments are Monday morning. It’s going to be a very long day
