She is as strong as they get. I'm glad to hear her friends protect her during this time. She may get some kids looking at her now, but she is a hero and everyone will soon rally around her in hopes to hear her story of how she beat cancer. Not only will she fit in, but she will shine like the star she is. My thoughts and prayers go out to your family, hoping for an easy path during the next 20 months.
