Journal entry by Jenni Lee

We are so grateful for your continued love and support as we all struggle with the loss of Emily.

As we prepare to remember and celebrate her on May 4, we want to take a moment to answer a few questions we've gotten.

Also, we kindly ask people who are planning to attend to please RSVP to moeszafarz@gmail.com so we can get a head count.

Q: Are people really going to wear Disney shirts?
A: Yes! (Mine arrived this weekend. It's bright and obnoxious, so Emily would approve.)

Q: What should I bring?
A: Your presence is most important. But Sean also encourages people to bring chairs. We are also open to and grateful for any sides, deserts, or drinks you bring. (Please bring food in a disposable container.)

Q: What do I do if I have questions about where to stay, how to get there, etc.?
A: Please email moeszafarz@gmail.com and Sean or one of his lieutenants can help you out.

Q: Could you remind me of the details again?
A: Date: Saturday, May 4
Time: Starts at 2pm
Location: 16203 Majestic Oaks Drive, Rosharon, TX 77583
Attire: Comfortable & casual. Disney shirts are encouraged
Kids welcome.

Q: Not a question - just want to say I miss Emily.
A: Me too. I think a lot about a quote from Winnie the Pooh (the movies, not the books, which is how Emily liked her entertainment). The quote is, “How lucky am I to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard.”
