Emily has gone to be with her Heavenly Father. She will be greatly missed here by all of her friends and family. Her passing is not without much rejoicing as well. Emily is using her life to literally give life to so many others through the gift of organ donation. The wonderful people with Gift of Life have informed us Emily will potentially be able to give life to over 100 people!

We (Emily’s) family are so very appreciative of everyone’s prayers and outpouring of love during these last few days. Your dedication to prayer and support has meant more than all of you could ever know. We have felt your prayers. We have a peace about everything that is happening. We still have questions and will no doubt go through tough times as the days, weeks, and years progress, but we trust in God’s plan and know He will be glorified trough Emily’s story. With her donation of organs to give life to so many others, we are calling Emily OUR HERO. 

We love Emily so much and our hearts ache for our loss, but we Trust and Believe in God’s greater plan. We believe many more people will come to know God and enter in to a personal relationship with Him through Emily’s story, and THAT IS WHAT MATTERS. We are thankful God can use what we sometimes deem as “bad” for His “Good”. Emily’s legacy will forever live on, and we are thankful for this. Emily’s story will forever be used for His Glory. Thank you, Lord!
