Journal entry by Emily Kilpatrick —
Sorry for any phone calls missed. I am recovering well.
They removed ALL of the cancer: Praise God!
1 out of 23 lymphnodes removed were infected. So although I may have had cancer possibly since 2016 it was only stage 2. My cancer shrunk. AND slow growing? Someone was really looking out for me.
The next step is radiation to clear up any microscopic cancer that may still be left over.
My drains are out now. But I won't be able to continue to do my physical therapy stuff until Friday. Pray that my arm can get back to a new normal if you could. It feels a bit heavy and hard to move. But I am sure that I just need to mend.
Crazy: I broke down thus week. I found myself weeping in the bathroom. I had prayed and prayed for a miracle. I shouted at the top of my lungs that if I could just touch the hem of Jesus' robe I know I will be healed. I screamed it into the carpet on the floor of my closet. Now we are here.
My neighbor called me a miracle. I feel that. I feel like a miracle.
