I created this site to collect funds for my dear friend who is in need of emergency medical treatment. 

COVID-19 has treated so many of us cruelly, especially the self-employed, 1099 contractors, retail and service employees. Imagine - if you will - losing your job and your health insurance at the same time, but because of the nature of your work, you're ineligible for unemployment. Imagine having a major medical issue arise which prevents you from seeking another job. What do you do?

A few friends and I have come together to aid our friend in collecting funds required for life-saving medical treatment.
