Journal entry by Ellen Reed —
Good Morning to our friends and family,
George has been resting most of the morning. We can hear rumblings coming from his intestines, a good sign. His ileostomy is functioning and less bleeding from his urinary catheter. Our surgeon visited and changed pain meds and advanced his diet to allow some more palatable fluids like ice cream.
George is clearly still uncomfortable, but trying hard to walk with assistance and occasionally sit in a chair. God bless him as he surely wants to start feeling better.
Love to you all.
