I worked at Ellen’s sister CB office in West Cambridge for 20 of Ellen’s years as my colleague. Especially my first few years as a realtor and new mom, I found Ellen to be encouraging, never arrogant, always gracious, kind, and she got so much done but didn’t seem to be rushing around, stressed out. Ellen gave realtors a good name, in an industry where we are not always appreciated. She was bright, observant, focused, funny and welcoming. She spoke up and let you know where she stood, with that little half grin that was almost a wink. I’m sorry she passed away before I got to say goodbye and thank her for making our community better.
