This sweet girl is the most incredible person in the world. She has started the phase of treatment called Interim Maintenance. This is the second round of interim maintenance, and is every 10 days. Barring any set backs, it will last until September and then she goes to the maintenance phase. Maintenance lasts two years and consists of taking a chemo pill at home every night and going to clinic once a week for blood checks. If we weren’t in a pandemic with little to no leadership, she’d be able to go back to school in the fall. But we ARE in a pandemic and some people think wearing a mask is a bridge too far. The way I see it these people are fighting for the right to endanger my child. In times like these we need to be selfless, not selfISH. Please everyone consider other people like our precious baby girl. Not everything is a gov’t plot to take your rights. Not everything is a conspiracy. I’m sorry to get political but this shouldn’t BE political. The fact that it is angers me to the extreme.
